We are currently looking to add to the programming staff of a small .NET development team we have in Tampa, Florida. This team has been in place for just over three years working on the development of online transactional applications for the financial industry. Our client is in Southern California so all work is done via VPN from our very casual office on Princess Palm Avenue (Zip: 33619). The environment and dress attire is casual (yes, flip flops are common), the work is anything but.
The team needs to add 2-3 senior programmers who have a minimum of 2 years C# experience and an additional 2 years with C++ Object Oriented programming. At this time, we can say these programmers will have 6 months of work, probably 12 months. We can also say that everyone who has been on this project came in on a 3-6 month project and most have been with it over 2 years so far. No quality team member has not been extended. And no one has ever quit these projects. (Well, one person did but he returned 6 weeks later.)
We can offer full-time employment with benefits including medical/dental insurance, paid holidays, personal and vacation days or straight W2 employment wherein we take care of all employments taxes and fees but you're only paid for the time you work and are not eligible to participate in the company's benefit plan. With both employment options, you will be paid straight time for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.
Not interested in anyone looking to be “bought”. The compensation is fair and sustainable; the work and the people don't get much better. Excellent communication skills are required. Sorry, no third party candidates, 1099s, or individuals requiring work visas.
