Senior Software Engineer -- FE Modeling Applications
Summary:
Profitable high growth software company looking for C/C++ programmer with experience developing Windows graphics and interfaces for Finite Element Pre-post processing applications. Ideally, individual will also have experience developing GUIs in CAD or FEA applications. Ability to work in small teams with little or no supervision is a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required. Must have a proven track record of highly productive and quality development.
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field
• At least 2 years of C++/Visual C++, object oriented design experience on commercial products
• Minimum 2 years of MFC and Windows GUI programming
• Experience with component integration within existing application frameworks
Desired Skills/Experience:
• Experience working on FEA or Engineering commercial software applications.
• Experience working on CAD/CAE software applications
• SolidWorks API Experience
• OpenGL/DirectX exposure
• Experience with bug tracking systems
• Experience with component technologies including ActiveX controls, COM and
• Automation developed using ATL/C++
• Experience with software configuration management tools such as CVS or SourceSafe
