Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for ACSC Software Development Department.
Responsibilities
· Design and development of software for all gaming machine platforms.
· Troubleshoot and debug software defects.
· Review, interpret, and execute software requirements and specifications.
· Low-level design and implementation of microprocessor-based real-time embedded systems, video graphics and communications protocols related to gaming machines.
· May act as planner/coordinator/team mentor in a multi-person development team.
· May supervise and verify the work of engineers, designers, draftsmen, or technicians.
· Maintain liaison with internal and external customers and vendors regarding relevant issues.
Requirements
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
Requirements
· Experience in implementing microprocessor-based real-time, multithreaded embedded software systems, video graphics and communications protocols.
· Experience in analysis, design, implementation and integration generic protocols (TCP/IP) and serial communication.
· 5 or more years of professional experience developing C, C++, assembly language programs
· Proficiency in C++ (68000 or 80x86 or ARM), GCC and Linux, UNIX/Linux, Windows CE/Windows Embedded, Adobe Macromedia Flash (Action Script), XML.
· Experience in writing drivers for low level devices.
· Understanding of Board and System design for embedded system.
· Understanding of Configuration management and Defect tracking system, use of debugging technique for embedded system, understanding of graphic s/w and device drivers for touch screen is plus, Understanding of DSP programming and tool set.
