• Our Direct client is seeking a contractor for a short term (6 months) contracting position.+
• Client is seeking a highly experienced Excel/VBA expert to develop requirements and implement “smart” workbooks, automatically customized with data from our database, that will provide an intelligent front end for data entry of laboratory data that will be prepared for electronic submittal to the EPA in a CROMERR compliant manner.
• Workbooks must include error checking, creation of a specifically formatted .csv file, and linking to the EPA website for CROMERR compliant transfer of this data.
• Client also desires the selected candidate to be proficient in building simple MS Access applications as a front end to data on Oracle, though the most urgent need is for the Excel/VBA skills.
Skills Required:
• Strong customer orientation with 10 years experience working closely with clients from detailed requirements gathering through completion of project
• Minimum 8 years experience in MS Excel
• Minimum 8 years experience XLM (within Excel)
• Minimum 8 years experience VBA (within Excel
• Strong command of the English language -- both verbal and written
• Strong customer service skills
Experience preparing data for CROMERR compliant electronic transfer to EPA
• Experience building Applications in MS Access
