Looking for mid-level C# web developers with 3+ years experience in server-side programming. What matters is that your knowledge and abilities are at the leading edge of web development using .NET technology, Javascript and CSS. You also have an excellent design eye for graphics, knowledge of web usability and demonstrated experience in developing rich user interfaces for database-driven web sites. Through your work, you are able to maintain brand consistency and a user-friendly experience for Vistek customers. You enjoy working with a winning team and are ready for an exciting challenge.
In this role, you will primarily act as Web Developer and will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our dynamic websites. You will be programming in C# .Net 2.0 and using Sql Server 2005. You will be responsible for ensuring your work is up to date, using web standards and is secure.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, load test, and refine customer facing web-based solutions and internal applications for high-volume environments.
* Write efficient, robust and secure code.
* Web design (css + xhtml) layout and graphics.
* Working experience with Web architecture, IIS, ASP.NET, Web Services
* Work with Windows server development/ staging / production environments
Education and Experience:
* 3+ Years in Web Development
* C# .NET 2.0 / 3.0 for Web applications and high-volume Websites.
* Javascript -- experience using a Javascript framework.
* Advanced CSS
* AJAX techniques
* Experience with XHTML with an attention to web standards required.
* Experience using Visual Studio .NET (2005/2008 or C# Express)
* Good understanding of relational databases with Structured Query Language (SQL).
* Experience in design, development, and maintenance of feature content web sites is a definite asset.
* E-commerce experience is an asset
* Experience in photography, marketing and/or media is an asset.
* Experience using Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks and Flash is also an asset.
* Diploma or degree in web development is preferred.
* Strong communication skills, oral and written; plus knowledge of MS Office suite.
* Ability to work within strict deadlines.
