Position Summary:
The primary job responsibility will be to work with various product teams to define & manage data models for CCC. The Data Architect will need to have excellent data modeling skills in OLTP & Data Warehousing environments in addition to possessing strong understanding of meta data concept.
Additional responsibilities include analyzing requirements to create XML DTDs/schemas, DBMS optimization, load strategy and implementation using Erwin & Rational development tools.
Skills Required:
Data modeling using ER tools.
Meta model design.
OLTP and Data Warehouse design.
XML DTD/schema design.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Erwin.
Experience with Meta Data tools.
Experience with Oracle, SQL Server or Redbrick.
Experience with Rational Unified Process methodology.
Experience with XML schema design.
Experience with LDAP schema design.
Competencies:
Strong analytical skills
Strong problem solving skills
Knowledge of development methodologies
Self Starter / Learner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Education and Years of Experience:
BS degree (CS or MIS preferred) or equivalent work experience
7+ years experience on software development projects, primarily focused on data modeling and meta data.
