Job description:
We are seeking a full-time Senior VM/VSE Systems Programmer for a 4 month Contract in Cincinnati, OH.
Candidate should possess strong knowledge of z/VM and z/VSE.
Experience in Mainframe Technical Services is recommended.
Candidate should also have knowledge with the installation and upgrades of z/VM and z/VSE products, including but not limited to, IBM Software, CA Software and other 3rd party vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine and release maintenance of IBM and 3rd party software.
Perform upgrades and new installations of IBM and 3rd party software.
Implement Source Code Management system and compile EXECS
Evaluate and implement security
Develop/Execute test and implementation plans for software installations and upgrades.
Establish performance testing with TMON
Provide system level support for application developers.
Systematic debugging of system and other software failures.
