Description:
This position will be responsible for establishing and leading an architecture/design team to develop and implement advanced systems. Responsibilities will be in the areas of systems architecture, technical leadership and project management in a Microsoft environment.
The position will be responsible for
1) integrating the functional applications that support research, trading, portfolio management and securities accounting into a common architecture,
2) providing technical and engineering leadership in all areas of application development, and
3) managing critical projects that cut across these functional areas.
Requirement:
- Candidates must be able work directly with professional investment staff and will participate in management IT strategy planning.
- The successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as in a team environment and possess strong quantitative and communication skills.
- Some experience working with investment systems, company market/fundamental data and portfolio analysis systems is also a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years systems architect and project management experience is required.
Education: PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or other Science / Math field is preferred.
