MERIDIAN Technology Group seeks a QA Engineer JW6831 with 4+ years of quality assurance experience. 1+ years of experience as a QA Team Lead. Must have ability to create test cases and have strong SQL skills. Must also have ability to demonstrate in past work experiences, utilizing testing and quality assurance of complex, high performance solutions. Understanding and ability to document current data flows from source to target required. Understanding of business transformation logic, business reporting, analytics and usage also required. Informatica, Teradata and Cognos experience highly desired.

You will be responsible for writing test scripts and test plans to exercise the ETL process and report validity. Responsible for ongoing performance testing, regression testing and analysis of enhancements. You will perform manual and automated testing via SQL scripts. Report software errors to development. Review design specifications and create workflow based test plans. Apply quality procedures and test standards to testing activities and review product documentation and technical specifications as needed. You will identify, assess and record near-term testing data needs, recommend business priorities and advise businesses on options, risks and costs versus benefits. Communicate business data priorities to the technology organization accordingly, in order to drive effective business solutions. Perform analysis on source systems and current data structures and usage.
