Controls Engineer
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday -- Friday
Responsibilities:
Ideal candidate possesses a strong team and goal-oriented work ethic and brings the following experience to the team:
• Design of Industrial Control Systems using Autocad Electrical
• Lead development and design of PLC based controls
• PLC experience must include knowledge of DeviceNet, Ethernet and other network based I/O systems
• Expertise in designing servo motion control systems
• Lead electrical design of the equipment, systems , and utilities for large Material Handling systems
• Develop specifications for software and hardware
• Develop and manage project schedule, track costs, prepare status reports, conduct team meetings, and communicate progress to management
• Prepare test protocols and procedures as required
• Provide sustaining support of hardware/software for existing equipment
Requirements:
• BS degree with a minimum of 6 years experience in the Material Handling Industry
• Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems(ASRS) experience
• Experience in the design and implementation of servo based motion control systems
• Experienced with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Project
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Travel availability 25%-40%
