Job Description
Lead, manage, and direct business information systems development, implementation and support of company's SAP R/3 (FICO) Financial and Costing Control, systems. My client utilizes a robust General Ledger and has over 3500 Financial and Decision Reporting Users.
Functional Business Operations supported include all SAP R/3 FICO applications, as well as other related financial business systems.
Works directly under the supervision of the Manager IT Application Projects.
Leads a direct staff of 6 responsible for performance reviews, budget control and managing priorities.
Interfaces with VP's and Directors of other business units in a leadership capacity for business and capability development for all FICO applications.
The candidate directly impacts the efficiency and quality of their global business process through process and systems management and development.
Provide executive office and Directors with specific business and technical knowledge necessary to run all financial and management reporting functions.
This position is responsible for working with other business units to help re-engineer business processes and develop systems that support those processes efficiently.
Experience:
This position requires a Masters Degree in Business or relevant business related field and 6 or more years of business management experience in addition to the specific technical skills is required. Previous experience in consulting and/or CPA certification strongly preferred.
6+ years of relevant experience is required. A broad range of cross-functional business, industry and functional knowledge is required to integrate technical solutions with business requirements. Given that the resources managed impact all facets of financial and operational accounting, the candidate must have experience in preparing and executing business and project plans on a global scale.
Strong skills in leadership, problem solving, management, planning, communication and analysis are required.
Educational Requirements: BS in Information Technology or Finance/Accounting required, CPA strongly preferred as is MBA
