XShares Advisors LLC, a subsidiary of XShares Group LLC, is a registered investment advisor that provides investment advisory services to Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). XShares also partners with major institutions and index providers seeking to bring innovative ETFs to market using our administrative platform. In addition, we create and license distinctive intellectual property for ETFs, developing products that allow for innovative trading strategies and alternative investments for the financial community. We seek an experienced, detail-oriented Programmer for our New York City offices.
Programmer (C++)
We are looking for experienced technical staff with good communication skills. In this role, you will perform light C++ programming and maintenance, ad-doc data analysis and care for PC-based SQL Server data warehouse. The programs will verify, load and overnight data from various vendors into the data warehouse.
Required Skills and Experience:
• C++ programming
• Databases (SQL Server or MS-Access)
• Excel spreadsheet
• General PC support (ability to do back-ups, etc)
Business areas of familiarity (a plus, but not required):
• Equity markets
• Exchange traded funds
• Index tracking
• Portfolio management
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with PC applications and data sources.
