Client, the Nation's largest e-commerce network for the Mortgage and Real Estate industry is looking for an Operations Analyst. We are looking for an energetic, hard working professional with experience in IT operations. This position would be responsible for monitoring and manipulating the operational aspects of the client's Platform. We are currently expanding our offices and staff to meet the needs of growth and success in our market.
Responsibilities:
• Project support for client's operational initiatives. Responsible for implementing application and system configuration change control initiatives to ensure a successful migration path from development to production and disaster recovery sites; accounting for each element within the scope of the overall system.
• Responsible for verification and execution of software deployment scripts through development, test, and (ultimately) the production environment.
• Responsible for client's operational analytics. Works collaboratively with multiple external teams to define metrics that provide visibility into end-user behavior resulting from (or indicating the need for) product improvements. Implement the use of metric gathering tools in order to provide teams with HW and application performance data plus operational insight into the production application environment.
• Responsible for day-to-day operations in support of client's platform usage. Monitors the daily performance of the client's platform. Establishes, identifies and tracks operational processes and procedures for management of product requirements in support of the client's platform and IT.
• Supports the implementation of new hardware and software infrastructure changes with IT. Communicates to appropriate audiences' major application, infrastructure or other technical changes that may impact the day-to-day operations and/or existing customer functionality. Coordinates among teams to identify operational risks, challenges, or inefficiencies and recommends and implements solutions.
• Researches, troubleshoots and coordinates resolution of technology issues with existing or developed systems and works with appropriate resources to resolve them. Communicates to and educates the staff when technology issues impact client's processes and/or client's business practices. Produces trend reports and recommends procedures and practices to minimize recurring technology issues and business impact.
• Involved in coordinating performance testing and quality assurance for operational initiatives, establishing and measuring against benchmarks. Works with the quality assurance team to design and executes tests to optimize site performance.
• Responsible for monitoring disaster recovery and business continuity for all company websites and 3rd party tools. Collaborates with IT on disaster recovery tests and planning.
• Maintains working knowledge of industry legal and compliance changes and ensures site changes are made appropriately.
• Remains in-tune with new developments, trends, and utilities in e-Commerce operations. Works closely with the development teams and IT to research, analyze and support the strategic use of website technologies.

A minimum of three years experience with e-Commerce and other customer facing technologies.

• Knowledge of message queuing technologies (MSMQ)
• Experience with BigFix and other deployment/version management products
• Experience with source control products such as Visual Source Safe, Team Foundation Server
• Experience working with solutions of the following Microsoft development technologies:
o Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic .NET
o Transact-SQL
o ASP, ASP .NET
o C# .NET
o MSMQ
