Join an innovative web development team at one of the largest and most respected associations in the country. The Society for Human Resource Management is seeking an indispensable member of our web development team to build and support our innovative web site.
The Sr. Web Metrics & Usability Analyst will focus on consumer traffic patterns and usage behaviors (web analytics) that will rely heavily on the ability to collect, analyze, interpret and report Internet data findings. Lead usability and customer field testing, along with creating and executing multivariate or A/B tests that drive fundamental improvements to the site experience. Determine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of enhancement effectiveness during the development phase, mine data using relational database and web analytics reporting tools to monitor these KPIs, then analyze and interpret the results. Additionally, the individual will have strong skills in business metrics and statistics. As a plus, the candidate would be comfortable with associated data technologies such as WebTrends, Omniture, HitBox and Google Analytics.
Degree required with at least five years experience in web metrics analysis, market research, and statistical analysis of business data. Must possess a strong understanding of online metrics, implementation and terminology. Ideally, the web metrics analyst will have strong excel skills with experience performing data manipulation. Proficient with web reporting tools. Must be very detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills, and knowledge of website design, development, and usability including HTML, JavaScript, and web servers. Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of personality types is essential, as is the need to work effectively in tight daily and weekly deadlines.
