This role is a combination of Business Analyst with strong technical skills and the ability to work and provide the customer with the best solutions possible.
You are responsible for assessment of business needs and developing high-level requirements that align with business goals and objectives. They will utilize their business and technical knowledge to work with business representatives and technical development team to determine business application integration needs and requirements. They will work closely with sales, implementations and the IT groups to provide detailed knowledge of current software and program functions; develop and maintain high-level and detailed requirements for system enhancements and new functionality that describe user and client needs as well as steps to develop and modify the current application. This position will be responsible for interaction with all levels of the organization, including client facing relationships.
Responsibilities
•In depth knowledge of current application; work with Sales and Implementations to effectively present current application to clients
•Evaluation of client requests for additional functionality
•Develop specifications for modifications and enhancements to current application.
•Ownership of all external system integration requests
•Client, vendor, 3rd party, Back Office, Corporate integrations
•Participate in client meetings to understand client needs
•Participate in technical design sessions to translate functional requirements
•New product evaluation and testing
•The candidate must be able to prioritize assignments, set goals, evaluate work and the quality of work performed, and explain technical material
•Work closely with Implementations and PMO personnel to assist in the development of plans to complete work assignments and project time lines
•Responsible for coordination of user testing for all multi-platform systems integrations which include:
•network security access
•establishing test environments
•FTP setup
•Environment and technical support.
•Perform technical system analysis of client systems
•Develop and institute standard protocols and format for all integrations
•Setting standard timelines
•Communication and enforcement of commonalties
•FTP/SFTP protocols
•Implementation and maintenance of integrations security standards
•Encryption standards
•Key maintenance
*Up to 25% travel to client sites nationally
Experience Required
•Experience with interacting with external clients directly (i.e. client interaction experience a necessity)
•5 years work related experience (preferred)
•Should have experience in design, development, implementation and deployment of client / server, web enabled (eCommerce/Internet/Intranet) applications (i.e. web-site design, development)
•Must be proficient in client-server database applications, database design, entity-relationship model, database processing normalization
•Must be disciplined in the full product lifecycle (SDLC) of application design, development, implementation and support for enterprise wide critical applications
