Search Engine Optimization Specialist
Summary:
WRS is currently seeking a SEO Specialist to understand business, user and search engine goals in order to assist clients in earning high placement in search results for their websites by:
• Ensuring that pages have title, META keyword and META description tags, headers, internal anchor text
• Understanding, researching & targeting useful keyword phrases that will generate traffic to the websites
• Keeping current with the SEO volatile industry and implementing the changes accordingly
As SEO Specialist you will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, directing and making changes to clients' web sites so they are optimized for search engines.
Responsibilities:
• Keyword Research
• Market/Geographical Area Overview
• Internet Comp Set Benchmarking (initial & monthly for Executive Summaries)
• Write Tags (Brand Sites, Independent Sites, Landing Pages) & Interlinking
• Keeping current knowledge in SE updates, restructuring, the latest in SEO
• Web Development (changes to the site that does not involve Creative aspect)
• Work closely with colleagues to test different search engine marketing and web site design ideas to improve search engine optimization for clients' sites.
• Review and analyze web sites (SEO Audit), through detailed written documentation, identifying areas for improvement and change relative to SEO. Communication of these findings (and resolutions of issues) to clients via account managers.
