Job Description
Analyzing the business requirements and converting them into Technical or Functional requirements as a team member
Coding, testing and documenting programs. Tasks are executed as per specifications within different projects / functional areas
Guide and mentor the team in technical areas, helping them in designing complex queries and reports
Carry out and review important technical documents, designs etc.
Creating the test cases, test datasets.
Share his technical knowledge among and across the team
Assisting PM / PL with technical details / decisions.
Mentoring SA's team members in technical areas/decisions.
Coordination with onsite team members on gap analysis, communication, planning and issues.
Requirements
Good academic background
Core application development experience on MAINFRAME platform, especially, COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM and JCL.
Exposure to Easytrieve, REXX is desired.
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
Knowledge in Financial domain is desired.
Good communication skills
