Skills Required:
1. Knowledge of Windows 9x, NT, 2000, XP and 2000 Server Operating Systems.
2. Knowledge of PC automated test software development tools, such as Sahi, SilkTest, Rational Robot, and/or WinRunner.
3. General understanding of programming methodologies and basic understanding of languages such as C++, Java, or equivalent languages.
4. Working knowledge in Microsoft Access, SQL, or equivalent databases.
5. Proficient in various Window applications such as MS Office, administrator tools, browsers, etc
Responsibilities:
1. Review software requirements specification and software design documents to develop comprehensive system testing and test plans. Interact with staff and team members, clients, or others as necessary, to rigorously and accurately identify and document testing requirements.
2. Design program test modules/systems that meet the identified requirements.
3. Develop both manual and automated test scripts/modules.
4. Generate and/or execute systems level test plans and document test results.
5. Create and maintain technical documentation per the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) SOP.
6. Provide accurate and timely status reports on all activities to project leaders/supervisors as necessary.
7. Maintain the integrity of the SDLC.
8. Participate in design reviews and project planning meetings.
9. Participate in the evaluation of third-party software products and development tools and make recommendations as to adequacy, applicability, and feasibility of use.
10. Serve as an effective, positive team member and advisor to the Software Quality Control Manager regarding Quality Control issues.
