There's a new Sheriff in Lighting!
Our client (a well-respected and established company in lighting) is seeking a smart, team-oriented, entrepreneurial Electrical Engineer to get involved with their top-priority LED projects! You'll be bringing order to the new frontier of lighting as you oversee the electrical design work for our client! And this could be your opportunity to join our client's 100% LED focused Product Development Group and have a hand at shaping the lighting of tomorrow!
You'll develop efficient and robust electronic circuitry including switching power supplies, LED drive circuitry and other control devices. Work with our team and design new products, circuits and layouts, build prototypes and trouble shoot new concepts. You'll be charged with meeting with our outside manufacturers to ensure component quality expectations are met.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience related to DC low voltage power systems or LED control systems, current experience using SolidWorks. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is highly desired but experience and proven track record will be taken into consideration. A recent graduate with interest in LED technology will also be considered.
You should be even-keeled and be able to handle a fair amount of pressure as you work on numerous projects concurrently. Your ability to stay on task and still meet deadlines is crucial. Our client is team-focused and has a very collaborative, exciting environment! There will be occasional travel to supplier manufacturers both here and offshore, tradeshows, and opportunity for outside training as well. This is a client with whom we've placed several people and is a great place to work.
