Our client is a national organization in the distribution industry and is actively seeking a Java Developer to join their growing IT team.
This is a permanent, direct hire opportunty with a stable WNY company! They offer excellent benefits, opportunities for growth and an upbeat, friendly work enviornment in a nice location.
Duties will include:
New development, supporting existing applications and working with business managers on new product development
Bill be responsible for front-end interface design as well as back-end development
Skills required:
Bachelor's in CS strongly preferred
2+ years of hands on Java development - may consider less if strong internships and school projects meet criteria
Oracle, SQL and Access database experience (interfacing in the development process)
Very strong scripting skills in a variety of proticols - javascript, pl sql, perl scripting, etc.
