Required skills:
Senior Programmer/Analyst for a 6+ months' assignment to develop and maintain fixed-income trading systems.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years experience in the development of distributed systems in Java or C++.
In addition, the candidate will have relevant industry experience, and familiarity with some or all of;
market data feeds
electronic price dissemination and trade negotiation
straight-through trade processing
Fixed-Income analytics and risk measurement.
5+ years experience in building distributed systems in Java or C++.
Experience with interprocess - communication, including TCP/IP and messaging middleware such as JMS or MQSeries.
Expertise with SQL and database development.
Experience with web services, XML, and SOAP.
Relevant experience in financial services.
Desired:
Familiarity with ECNs and/or the FIX protocol.
Experience with trade negotiation and capture.
Experience with market data feeds.
Experience with scripting and build tools under Linux, including; Perl, bash, CVS, Ant, JUnit.
