If you're looking for better place to work, and meet the qualifications, our E-Commerce Department is looking for a Web Designer. This position has a number of responsibilities including the design, development and support of the company Web sites, e-mail campaigns and other online promotional initiatives. You will create, edit and maintain Web graphics and manage Web site change requests; generate ideas, strategies and concepts to meet creative and overall E-Marketing objectives and create graphical content to support these objectives. In addition, you will identify and develop e-commerce opportunities that drive internal and external customer satisfaction and improve the customer experience on the Web site.
The Web Designer position requires a degree in Web Design, Web Development, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or Visual Arts, and three years' experience in web design and development. Proficiency in XHTML and CSS, table less page layout/design; knowledge and experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.); knowledge of compliant site design and Web 2.0 concepts; knowledge and experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. The position also requires you to remain current and have a thorough understanding of marketing principles, technologies and best practices to assure favorable online user experiences; stay abreast of Web design, Web development, Web standards, emerging technologies, multimedia tools and techniques; and strong organizational and time management skills.
