Overview
Located in the Houston, Texas, Founded in 1998, LenSec employs a staff of video security specialists dedicated to the installation, monitoring and servicing of networked video management systems. LenSec's solution is an integrated suite of enterprise-level video surveillance software providing for password authorized, browser-based access from any Internet portal. This advanced Video Surveillance and Management solution allows an authorized user access to any camera, at any facility, from any computer using only a standard Internet browser.
Position
We are seeking a results-driven professional to develop, enhance and maintain primarily web-based ASP.NET applications using C#, XML, Web Services, custom ActiveX controls and SQL Server.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Develop/test ASP.NET and Windows, Web and Windows Services applications as a part of LenSec's Enterprise-wide Video Surveillance System using object-oriented principles and best practices database and application design techniques.
· Asses/Design/Implement client specifications requests as an addition to the current LenSec's System offering.
· Maintain and extend to support upcoming cameras/servers/storage hardware, video formats, software platforms LenSec solutions
· Possess ability to self-manage and skills to estimate and meet project goals.
Requirements:
· 2+ Years Practical .NET programming, XML and SQL Server experience is required.
· Extremely strong understanding of OO Principles and Normalized database design.
· Ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of projects and tasks on schedule
· Advanced analytical abilities
· Detail oriented, creative thinking and innovative decision making
· Must be able to manage workload independently and accurately
Preferred Experience
· Development expertise in Video/Audio Recording/Streaming/Broadcasting
· Bachelors of Computer Science or related 4-Year degree
