LenSec LLC is a leader in IP-based video surveillance. We are currently seeking customer service representatives with technical support experience. This will be an office-based position in Houston Texas responsible for providing outstanding customer service while answering complex customer questions or problems, via telephone or email, in the areas of system configuration, setup, and functionality of LenSec's IP-based video surveillance software. At times, the candidate may have to travel to customer locations in the Houston area to provide on-site support. The successful candidate will have a strong customer service background in a technology related field as well as experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware components in servers and desktop computers.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include answering calls from customers concerning questions or issues with IP video surveillance cameras, software, and servers. The customer service representative will also be responsible for verifying warranty entitlement, logging trouble ticket information into a tracking system, trouble shooting software and/or hardware issues remotely and dispatching a customer service technician or contractor if the problem requires on site support. The customer service representative may be required to troubleshoot and repair servers and IP cameras in the office or occasionally at the customer's location. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, resetting passwords for system software, and providing remote technical services in support of project team members who are at the customer location. Work hours are from 9:00 am -- 6:00 PM M-F.
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deal with customers who may be upset or angry
Knowledge and experience with Windows Operating Systems
Knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2003
Knowledge and experience with IIS (Internet Information Server).
A+ certification
MCP certification
Net+ Certification
Experience with Net Support or other remote support software
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Strong Reasoning and technical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of network hardware configurations for Routers, switches and firewalls
College degree preferred
