Project Responsibilities
• Design, develop and implement an extract, transform, load (ETL) architecture and processes to meet the data requirements of business.
• Design and implement the data movement and management functions of the Data Warehouse (DW).
• Design and implement staging environment to facilitate the ETL processes.
• Define, develop and utilize business-results oriented metrics for the ETL processes that are focused on high quality, timeliness and scalability.
• Partner with Business Intelligence and business operational teams to understand data sources and implement new requirements.
Ensure source to target mapping accuracy

Required Skills and Experience
• Five plus years experience with advanced ETL techniques including staging, reusability, data validation, change data capture, error processing, appropriate use of automated escalation and notification tools, etc.
• Expert level knowledge of and experience (5+ years) with ETL tools, particularly Informatica Power Center, Informatica IDQ and PL/SQL.
• Expert level understanding of Oracle database capabilities and DW best practices including appropriate use of indexing, material views, portioning, snapshot capture, referential integrity, and reorganization scheduling.
• Competence with scheduling and notification tools.
