Business Logic Alliance Position: Project Manager
Business Logic Alliance is a web solutions and online brand management firm with focus on web innovations for top brands, deployment of enterprise solutions, and online brand management.
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of large, multi-phase projects. A PM has exceptional project management, client partnering and leadership skills and has a proven track record managing multi-disciplinary teams delivering projects on time, on budget and to the client's satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be required to work up to 40 hours a week, five days per week, on-site. Travel within Vancouver Metro Area will be required. This is a contract position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages and delivers medium and large projects on budget, on time, and on schedule.
• Manages all aspects of project: scope, risk, schedule, budget, quality, and communication.
• Prepares project documentation: Project Plans, Project Charters, Status Reports, Risk Assessment Plans, Change Requests, and Resource Requests.
• Leads multi-disciplinary project teams through all phases of the project life-cycle providing coaching, motivation and inspiration.
• Participates in internal PMO programs including post project reviews, internal process initiatives and ongoing improvement practices.
• Responsible for project revenue management and reporting.
• Manages all project related requests.
• Effectively interacts with all levels of client management.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
• A minimum of 6 years project management experience managing multi-phased complex well known project deployments on high traffic public web sites.
• A track record delivering complex projects on time and on budget while maintaining effective client and team relationships.
• Highly developed relationship management skills at senior levels.
• In depth knowledge of project management tools, best practices and processes.
• Understanding of internet technologies.
• Highly developed communication, presentation, leadership, facilitation and negotiation skills.
• An undergraduate degree and/or equivalent experience and the successful completion of project management courses.
• Familiarity with SharePoint2007 an asset.
• Solid understanding of full life cycle software development.
• All applicants should have excellent English language written and verbal communication skills; working knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
