The PeopleSoft Senior Functional Consultant is a lead position and will be responsible for working with Revere and client Project Managers on project execution, serving as a knowledge source on the Delivery Team to implement and deliver Oracle's PeopleSoft Financials Management Solutions (FMS) across multiple projects. They will be responsible for assisting and guiding design, configuration and testing and will be able to provide a transfer of knowledge, training and implementation recommendations to ensure leading-practice standards are met.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of PeopleSoft experience along with a strong business process understanding.
- Functional Team Lead experience and subject matter expert in GL plus two of the main PeopleSoft FMS modules (e.g. AM,AP,AR,BI, or PC).
- Can provide specialist level functional business process and configuration knowledge in designing PeopleSoft solutions.
- Recent experience must include either multiple full life cycle implementation or upgrade experience with version 8.8 or above.
- Experience in development of project plan and schedule.
- Experience in requirement gathering, fit/gap analysis, documenting design, test planning and execution, training strategy, and overall implementation planning.
- Must have strong writing skills and be able to create functional specifications, design documents, training materials, test scripts, etc.
- Strong issue resolution, project management, and communication skills.
- nVision and query writing skills in addition to a baseline technical tools understanding.
- Solid understanding of integration points with other PeopleSoft FMS modules.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills or production support experience.
- Willing to provide leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing.
- Prior consulting experience and a willingness to travel.
- Functional experience with more that three PeopleSoft modules or any PeopleSoft technical experience is a plus.
