Position Description
• With minimum direction responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting in-house developed or purchased business applications.
• Duties may include instructing, directing and checking the work of other programming personnel.
• May act as project leader for small to medium projects of a complex nature.
• Complies with all standard practices, procedures and policies governing principal duties and responsibilities.

Required Skills and Experience
• BS in computer Science or related field and a 5 plus years experience in analysis and programming of a complex nature plus 2 years experience as a lead developer.
• Knowledge in Peoplesoft HCM (Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll) as well as self-service modules
• Thorough knowledge of assigned application's design concepts, architecture, tools and system environment.
• Ability to exercise sound independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to design, code, test, debug and document programs and maintains those programs.
• Ability to work with the business representatives and I/S management in the development of complex business system requirements and associated implementation plans.
• Ability to develop and implement project plans
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
