This is an exciting position for someone not afraid to hit the road and meet the client! Join this growing IT consulting firm that has been in business for over 10 years as their Senior Consultant. Folks with background in project management, previous experience in consulting or consulting environments, and hands-on professionals are STRONGLY encouraged to apply. Any travel for this position will be mostly in the Fairfield County (Connecticut) and Westchester County (New York) areas.
We're seeking someone experienced in small to enterprise sized environments; Process disciplines using workflow/Help Desk systems and Operational Change Control; Architecture design and implementation of Network systems and Servers, messaging systems (MS Exchange, BES) and systems management solutions; Background with VMWare ESX or later; Highly developed troubleshooting skills; Monitor and oversee all Network systems
Primary Responsibilities include:
• Design, participate in, monitor, manage and maintain projects and/or network systems ranging in size and complexity as a resource, technical lead, project manager, or all three
• Troubleshoot and correct intermediate to advanced systems problems
• Provide tier 2 and tier 3 technical support to associates and customers
• Enter and maintain technical support requests using a service desk application
• Document implementations and repeatable problem resolutions
