Job Description:
This position is responsible for supervising all aspects of quality assurance testing and training efforts for multiple, national mainframe and distributed applications, both existing and new, as well as all aspects of customer testing. These include the Integrated Accounting System and Account Management Information application, which provide (among other functions) General Ledger and Depository Institution accounting services for the Federal Reserve System.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Supervise a team of QA analysts and assign component and product testing to QA staff.
• Automate regression test plans using Silk Test software.
• Develop testing methodologies and coordinate beta testing processes of products and functionality.
• Assist with the implementation and support of multiple applications from both the user and technical perspective.
• Assist with the development, coordination, and implementation of cross-functional test strategy, including cross-platform testing involving a variety of different technologies
• Assist in formal and informal reviews throughout the development life cycle.
• Develop and communicate technical policies, procedures, and strategies, and clearly articulate complex situations to both technical and non-technical personnel, as well as management
• Assist QA Manager with communication activities such as release status and issue/defect reporting.
• Escalate issues/defects as required, to management.

Requirements:
• Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology and a minimum of 5 years of job related experience. (Quality Assurance).
• Two (2) years plus using SilkTest/SilkPerformer Test Automation tools (Borland).
• Excellent supervisory, leadership and teamwork skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate expectations, coach employees, provide feedback, and work collaboratively with other departments.
