MERIDIAN Technology Group seeks Senior J2EE Developers GW6774 with a minimum of 8+ years experience developing J2EE applications in a structured environment. Must be knowledgeable and experienced in implementing Servlet, JSP, XML/XSL technologies with a strong understanding of J2EE 1.4 and Java EE 5. Must also have a thorough knowledge of software design patterns and UML. Experience with configuration management systems and concepts (CVS, SVN, ClearCase, SourceSafe, etc.) required. Ability to design and document complex software systems and provide level-of-effort estimates also required.
You will be expected to work on small to medium sized teams specializing in J2EE development. Excellent collaboration and communication skills both verbal and written with ability to mentor less experienced developers and work with different levels of technical and non-technical audiences. BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or BS in Computer Engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.
