Position Summary:
Develop software, systems and databases to construct financially attractive wind farms that are successfully and sympathetically integrated into the environment

Essential Responsibilities:
• Develop software for long term energy forecasts, wind farm visualization, time of day analysis, wind speed forecasts, turbine layout design, etc., for each project.
• Develop new software tools aimed specifically at the North American market.
• Coordinating with wind data analysts & technical engineers to improve, optimize and add to our existing models.
• Training and coaching data analysts and technical engineers to write code that improves their efficiency.
• Reporting updates to the technical team.
• Implement new software and train staff in their use.
• Responsible to ensure SAFETY requirements are met.
• Stay current with professional and industrial best practices.
• Must be able to work professionally with clients, vendors, employees, managers and supervisors.
• Regular attendance is an essential requirement of the job.
• Follow any other job-related duties/functions requested by the supervisor.

Skills and Experience Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Strong object oriented design and implementation skills using C# and the Microsoft .NET framework.
2) Strong User Interface design and implementation skills for Web (ASP.NET) and Desktop (C#.NET) applications.
3) Skilled in development across multiple tiers (presentation, business, data).
4) Skilled using Microsoft SQL Server, developing efficient views and stored procedures.
5) Strong analytical skills with math, engineering, or physics background.
6) Excellent communication skills.
6) Ability to work as part of a dynamic team is essential.
7) Preferred candidates who also have experience with Visual Studio, Visual SourceSafe, Subversion, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server administration, HTML, JavaScript, XML, XSL, HTML, CSS, CSLA, IIS, UML, VB6, database design, Active Directory/LDAP, Fortran and Excel programming.
8) Needs expertise and the necessary skills to interface with the technical staff and will be instrumental in delivering projects on time.
9) Skilled in MSOffice, Outlook, and MSExcel.

EDUCATION:
B.S.degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or a related discipline.
