Vatix Staffing is looking for Qualified candidates to fill the position of Senior Software Engineer for our client in Denver.
Performs requirement analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of the system software. Assists in requirements gathering and analysis. Acts as liaison between software development and other functions. Analyzes and resolves issues related to software coding and maintenance.
Responsibilities
Responsible for code design and implementation for the system.
Quickly understand architectures, approaches, and tradeoffs in implementation of maintenance fixes or feature enhancements.
Identify and share new approaches to reduce project implementation timeline
Identify and communicate potential project risks to management with recommendations to mitigate risk
Communicate software requirements and features to external departments
Knowledge Required/Qualifications:
College degree in engineering, computer science, or information technology.
Must have good communications (oral and written), presentation, organization and planning skills.
Strong team skills are required.
Ability to travel internationally.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate software activities across non-software disciplines, such as localization and marketing.
Demonstrated familiarity with software lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, software design, implementation, and release.
Experience deploying, supporting, and maintaining a software application in a customer environment.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience designing and implementing software.
At least 3+ years using C# (preferred) or 1+ years using C# with a background in C++
Experience with ASP.NET 2.0 and Visual Studio
Required familiarity with Microsoft Windows platforms, setup, and maintenance
Familiarity with database design and maintenance. Knowledge of Oracle and SQL a plus.
Experience in developing web-based applications a plus.
Knowledge of Infragistics controls a strong plus
