The corporate Information Technology Department of Robert Bosch LLC, a $55B global corporation seeks to fill the position of Programmer Analyst / Sr. Programmer Analyst. This position will be based at our in Broadview. IL. location.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Supports/ Leads initiatives to provide programming and system support to the JDE Finance ERP systems.
Support/Leads projects to implement JDE Finance ERP solutions.
Designs, codes, test and maintain programs to support JDE Finance ERP systems.
Formulate system scope and objectives by analyzing user applications.
Devise or modify procedures to solve problems using information systems.
Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
Design, code, test, debug and document programs.
Analyze and revise existing systems difficulties.
Analyze and recommend methods, procedures, and standards.
Monitor assigned responsibilities to assure compliance with user requirements and quality standards.
Report to management, technical changes, innovations and other developments.
Participate in “on-call” application support.
Keep abreast of technical developments related to system/software designs.
May carry out a variety of assignments and responsibilities related or incidental to the primary function.

May use CASE tools.
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
Bachelors in Computer Science or math or equivalent.
3 to 5+ years experience in programming.
Demonstrated project leadership skills/experience.
Strong knowledge of relative relationships to other programs/systems or software packages.
Proficiency in query and SQL languages.
Comprehensive knowledge of two or more particular areas of expertise (i.e. financial applications, distribution, manufacturing, inventory control, sales support, operations, product planning, product development, environmental, etc.) as well as their application to Bosch.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Excellent team and customer service skills.
Detail oriented and accurate.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Proficiency with the JDE One World Xe Financial applications, development toolset, Enterprise Report Writer and Financial Report Writer or comparanle financial application solution.
Experience with AS400 technology, DB2 database, RPG, and SQL language is preferred.
Experience with GetPAID is preferred.
