JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for various software development activities including requirement analysis and specification, architecture, implementation (coding), integration and test. Strong C programming skills
KEY DUTIES:
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Uses Company's engineering practices and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems.
- Testing and maintenance. Able to create implementation specifications and test plans from conception to completion.
- Pro-active communication inside product team. Provide technical leadership on small projects.
FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS:
1) Programming/OS/Languages
- strong C or C++ programming a must
- VxWorks, Linux, Unix Operating Systems
- Sun Solaris
2) IP Protocols
3) General Telecom experience
4) Applications
- strong experience with some or all of the following applications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- M.S. or B.S. in Computer Science
- A minimum of five years industry experience.
- Experience working as a primary contributor to a team.
- Relocation Assistance Provided if Necessary
