The client is looking for software engineers to join a truly stellar engineering team. We are a small company (40-45 people), but growing fast, and closing some BIG customer deals. The client was recently named by Gartner as a "Visionary" in the Master Data Management (MDM) market.
We are looking for team players who can be responsible for implementing large sections of a major enterprise application. Candidates MUST have a track record commensurate with this opportunity, and a passion for creating large software systems. Our ideal candidate has the drive to make new software products and the sophistication and experience to make this a reality. We are using agile software development methodologies (Extreme Programming, Scrum, etc.) and are looking for developers excited about working in a progressive development environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Design, implement, test and maintain major client- and server-side components of the client user interfaces and UI frameworks.
? Research and prototype new technologies as appropriate.
? Participate in build vs. buy decisions
? Define new product features in conjunction with product management, and provide specifications and user-interface designs
? Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit testing, documentation and maintenance as appropriate.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
? 5+ years experience developing enterprise software. Prefer experience building major components from start to finish.
? In-depth experience using middle-tier and front-end technologies such as Swing, Eclipse RCP, Struts, Spring, JSON, AJAX, HTML, CSS.
? Strong understanding of object oriented programming, design patterns, Java, JavaScript, and J2EE components.
? Experience building large desktop applications.
? Knowledge of human-computer interaction and user interface design principles; experience working with customers to develop solutions a plus.
? Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization, logic, and analytical skills.
? Must be passionate about developing highly efficient and responsive user-interfaces.
? Must have experience in Web 2.0, RIA, JSON, and mash-up.
? Excellent written/communication skills.
? BS in Computer Science or equivalent from a top university. MS a plus.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
? SOA, REST, ESB, UDDI, Visual Studio/MFC, and ActionScript/Flex (not Flash).
