The Business Analyst primary responsibility will be to analyze and document complex solution requirements and provide consultation to the implementation of those solutions.
Responsibilities include:
• Analyze business needs and create and document new functionality to meet them.
• Work on system projects that have a highly complex functionality.
• Work on projects with a broad scope, involving multiple systems.
• Design and specify information systems solutions to address business needs.
• Work closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.
• Formulate logical statements of business requirements, research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost effective solution for system design
• Analyze existing systems logic difficulties and revise as appropriate.
• Work closely with development and quality assurance groups to facilitate the successful progress of projects.
• May act as project leader and direct the work of other analysts.
• Perform related duties as necessary
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a field related to the work or equivalent experience.
• 5 or more years experience analyzing and solving business problems through the development and implementation of business applications.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
• Able to negotiate and drive opinion appropriately.
• Detail orientation with the ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of use case scenarios.
• Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry is desirable, particularly as it relates to credit applications.
