This full time opportunity will be based in Jersey City NJ. The ideal candidate will possess the following technical skills and experience.
Job Summary:
• Essential technical skills will be both Perl and Shell scripting and the ability to troubleshoot distributed applications.
• The candidate will be focused on the day to day implementation and support of trading systems, documentation and the creation of new tools.
• The candidate will need to maintain and develop internal customer relationships.
Required Skills:
• Perl and Shell scripting
• Troubleshooting
• UNIX power user skill set
• Change control process
• Ability to follow and give directions
• ITIL knowledge
Skills / Abilities:
• Strong Perl and Shell Scripting
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Some experience with SQL language a plus
• Working knowledge of basic network tools (ssh, sftp, scp, snoop, traceroute)
• UNIX, Linux knowledge
• Junior level UNIX administrator experience a plus
• Knowledge of CVS or other SCM system
