Big Fish is seeking a Web designer/developer to join a Product Management team on the Eastside. The Web designer/developer will be responsible for concept, design and production development of Web sites and online marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Design of Web sites, including navigation, process flows and clear communication of intended priorities on a Web page.
• Development of Web designs and implementation of special coding requirements and adherence to coding standards.
• Work with other designers, the Product Management Team and other internal clients to develop compelling design concepts using branding and style guide standards and direction.
• Solve design and technical challenges quickly.
• Estimate work time involved in projects and communicate changes in scope and timelines to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience in Web design and development.
• Proficiency with raw HTML and CSS using just a text editor.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash) applications, CSS, and HTML.
• Proficiency working with and developing basic Javascript and DHTML.
• Proficiency designing/developing Flash with some action scripting.
• Strong understanding of graphic design and Web user interactions.
• Ability to communicate very clearly and easily with clients and with the Product Management team.
• Experience with successful design of User Interfaces.
• Experience with usability and the implications for user interaction.
• Be able to manage time and multiple projects with short turn-around deadlines.
• Experience with consumer oriented sites.

Employment: This is a temporary need with the potential to go permanent.
