Ultra Electronics Advanced Tactical Systems (www.ultra-ats.com) is currently recruiting for a Senior Test Engineer to join our Product Assurance organization in San Diego, California.

You will be responsible for supporting the Test Manager with software and system test, verification and validation activities for various programs, projects and products, to include hardware and software modifications. You will lead the verification and validation of test requirements through the development and execution of test plans, procedures and scripts/scenarios. You will also develop acceptance criteria for each of the system and/or software requirements as established in the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM). You may be responsible for supervising up to 6 test engineers.

Travel up to 6 weeks per year, both nationally and internationally, will be required with this position.

Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• 14+ years experience with military DoD/C4I and/or weapon systems operations and testing OR completion of a Computer Science or related Bachelors degree + 5 years experience
• Experience with formalized Engineering processes/practices IAW MIL-STD 498, 2167A
• Must have a current or recently active Security Clearance (required)

Desired Qualifications:
• Test experience with/at major military/DoD test center activities
• Experience with CMM and/or CMMI processes
• 10-1E TCP experience
