Put your C / C++ skills on display! We have an immediate need for (2) Embedded Software Engineers on a 6 - 9 month contract basis.
Qualified individuals will develop detailed designs (with documentation), implement designs using the C and / or C++ languages, execute formal unit tests, participate in software integrations to include debugging of issues found and support of system verification testing.
REQUIRED:
1. 5+ years Linux (Application and / or System) Design and Development in C / C++.
2. GNU make, GCC, and GDB experience.
3. Command Line Interface (UNIX shell commands) experience.
4. System V IPC (shared memory, semaphores, pipes) experience.
5. Linux file I / O and drivers skills.
6. CMMI Level II development.
7. Subversion or CVS version control and practices.
8. Software design, data encapsulation, data hiding, top-down decomposition, inter-process communications and other best practices.
EDUCATION:
BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics or relevant experience.
