Senior Business Systems Analyst/Developer with in depth expertise in defining and implementing Oracle's Manufacturing and Supply Chain Planning areas (Oracle Inventory, Engineering/Bills of Material, Discrete & Process Manufacturing, Master Scheduling/MRP/DRP/Supply Chain Planning) Exposure to Oracle's Advanced Supply Chain Planning is required. Understanding of Procurement is highly beneficial. Requires detailed and hands on functional expertise. Some prior development background is a plus (PL/SQL, SQL).
Detailed Responsibilities:
1. Role will be primary focus for support, enhancements and projects in the Planning and Manufacturing areas.
2. Partner with users in defining and developing requirements documents for both enhancement requests and new projects. Lead, consult, investigate, research and provide alternative solutions to business problems. Identify gaps and areas for optimization.
3. Translate the user requirements into functional specifications and author the technical specifications. Conduct walkthroughs of the requirements documents
4. Create design specifications and configure the system. Conduct design reviews as appropriate.
5. Develop technical specifics and designs and code and unit test the solutions.
6. Manage the overall testing process including developing and executing test scripts, conducting system playbacks or conference room pilots
7. Provide end user support and training for implemented functionality. Ensure prompt resolution, documentation, coordination and communication for issues.
8. Member of a global team supporting Millipore's global supply chain (Order to Cash) specifically the Customer Service, Distribution, Procurement and Manufacturing organizations.
Experience & Skills:
1. BS/BA in Computer Science or related area.
2. Requires hands on technical implementation expertise (7-10 years) with Oracle Manufacturing and planning functions and Procurement functions
3. Requires strong in depth functional understanding of MPS/MRP/DRP as well as advanced planning techniques and processes. Highly beneficial to have global planning background
4. Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
5. Solid experience with Oracle's AIM or other ERP implementation methodology is required.
6. Team player with excellent inter-personal and leadership skills
