SAP Portal Administrator Main Responsibilities:
Will be required to support 2 separate projects.
1) Provide assistence with installation, configuration and upgrade of NetWeaver 7 Portal environment. Test upgrade process in Technical Sandbox. Participate in performance testing sessions. Recommend J2EE and Oracle tuning changes. Open/track issues with SAP. Will occasionally be required to work a modified schedule to support production go-live and performance test on week nights and possibly weekends (can work from home during these schedules).
2) Provide assistence building a secondary NetWeaver 7 environment as a failover site for Disaster Recovery. Installation of NetWeaver 7 dbci's, DI's, and perform system copies, Working closely with network engineers and unix administrators to test DR environment.
