Job Details: Enterprise Security Technical Consultant - Junior Developer

Gemalto is seeking a talented forward thinking Enterprise Security Technical Consultant -- Junior Developer.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3 years of development experience within PC/Windows environment. If you have development experience for embedded applications (source code compilation, loading to a chip/microprocessor) or user client application with or without GUI development, then we would love to speak with you. This is the perfect opportunity for the most qualified candidate to take his/her past development experience and expose himself/herself to a technical support/technical consultant role for post sales activities with Smart Card applications.

Responsibilities:

• In charge of full technical activities coordination for Post-Sales activities. Main interfaces will include: Customer Technical Leader, Gemalto Project Leader, Sales support organization, Product R&D team, and production sites.
• Analysis the feasibility of key customer requirement specifications, define the Smart Card specifications, support development of data processing software, personalization scenario and controller configuration for production.
• Participates to detailed technical specifications, develops, validates and integrates software tools for internal use, customers or production sites.
• Recommend suggestions to improve efficiency, productivity, security and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or related field
• 3 years programming experience
• Experience with embedded applications or PC client applications or drivers/middleware development
• Basic knowledge of most computer systems and languages (C, C++, Visual Basic, Java, Windows, Linux etc)
• Basic relational database administration and programming experience (Oracle, MySQL, SQLite, SQL, etc)
• Team player, energetic, flexibility, technical curiosity
• Ability to integrate quickly and adapt to a changing environment
• Implement and act in accordance with Gemalto's information security policies
• Protect company assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference
• Smart card background - cryptography - PKI knowledge is a plus (not required)
• Project Management exposure is a plus (not required)
• Good communication skills -- French or Spanish a plus (not required)
