The Situation
Smith Micro Software, Inc. is a leading developer and marketer of wireless and broadband communication, PC utility and diagnostic, and eCommerce software products and services.
SmithMicro's strategy is to broaden the company's product footprint and allow expansion into other high growth wireless security sectors. In order to accomplish this, SmithMicro is conducting a campaign to hire talented software engineers to join their team. One such opportunity is for a Software Quality Engineer who will work on the latest telecommunication oriented products at the SmithMicro offices in Chicago.
The Position
The Software Quality Engineer will develop test cases and scripts in conjunction with the software development group which is derived from functional specifications and customer requirements to validate and verify application functionality and performance.
