General Responsibilities:

• Will develop complex data integration scripts in the Ab Initio application
• Will be building configuration files (text files) using Shell scripting
• Analyze functional requirements
• Software development
• Will develop and maintain reports
• Will be interfacing with multiple groups and documenting results and software
• Responsible for the design of system integration test plans
• Mentor and assist junior staff to increase their technical skill levels
• Perform other tasks that support the success and growth of the firm

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area of study
• Minimum of 5-7 years of Ab Initio experience in a large data warehouse environment
• Technical background in databases, data modeling and other ETL tools
• Minimum of 3 years of UNIX and Shell scripting experience
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
• Must work well in a collaborative, team environment and independently
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Data Warehouse design and development methodologies knowledge and experiences
