Job Details:
The Managed Services group of this Telecomm Business runs customer networks and support on long-term, outsourced, SLA-driven agreements. This particular engineering group is tasked with the deployment of new network capabilities for their customers. Typically, the design engineers will develop a solution that addresses the customer need, do a proof-of-concept implementation and test, and finalize a CDD (Customer Design Document), that will be the blue print for a broader scale implementation (which is then handled by a group of implementation engineers) and includes all customer IP addressing, details, etc..
The position requires 7+ years of large network engineering background; including 5+ years as a design engineer Cisco IP products, such as:
Cisco Call Manager 4.1 -- experience with newer releases such as 5.0 or 6.0 are a plus. Experience with Server administration for Unity and Unity Express.
Certifications: CCVP (Cisco Certified Voice Professional).
