InfoTech Resources is seeking candidates for an immediate need for an Oracle 11i Technical Implementation Project Leader located at the Rocky Mount, NC. The selected individual will lead the overall IT implementation for the Midrange Engine (MR) Oracle 11i Manufacturing EBS implementation. This individual will be responsible for the full implementation and transition to production support for the Plan to Build, Order to Cash, Materials Management and Procure to Pay processes to the Oracle 11i application footprint for the MR ERP Program, which currently consists of two plants. This individual will be the overall IT expert, leading the transition from legacy ERP systems to Oracle 11i ERP. The individual will work with the track and task leaders to formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
This position will be responsible for:
• Translation of business requirements (MD50s) into technical specifications (MD70s).
• Analyze and recommend interface methodologies (ESB, Messaging, SOA, etc.) based on business requirements, standards and ROI.
• The design, development, implementation, and support of all Forms, Procedures, Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, Extensions and Workflows (RICEW).
• Design, configuration, and support of the overall technical infrastructure, including system performance and Disaster Recover Plan (DRP).
• Coordination/leading third party providers such as global preferred vendors and corporate/central service providers.
• Coordinating and facilitating offshore development.
• Ensuring the implementation adheres to all standards and methodologies.
• Implementation, production support strategy and implementation, and post-production support.

The successful candidate will have direct experience migrating to Oracle 11i and/or implementing at least one full life-cycle of Oracle Manufacturing covering order management, manufacturing bill of material, bar coding/radio frequency technologies, production scheduling and planning, WIP, materials planning and direct purchasing, inventory management, shop/work order, invoicing, warehouse management, quality, and integration with Oracle Financials (AP, AR, and GL). In addition, technical integration efforts will include customer master file, supplier master file, planning bills, engineering release system, customer specifications, engine sales analysis, engine quotations, material cost tracking, demand management, foreign trade zone, duty drawback, E-Commerce, and local manufacturing execution systems.

This position will lead the modification of procedures, software, and systems to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and system performance, and form of desired results. This includes the analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system configurations. The candidate must be competent to work at the highest technical level in all phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Establishing and maintaining communications within the organization and partners is a critical element of this role. The selected individual must be capable and willing to support a wide range of applications, technologies, and customers. Outstanding project management and customer skills are key requirement of this position. The candidate will have to demonstrate a solid understanding of all aspects of IT (applications, hardware, storage systems, software, network, distributed systems).

Experience and Education:
This position requires at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing /supply chain environment, strong knowledge of Oracle technology stack including table/database design and direct ERP implementation experience with Oracle or similar scope product. Experience working with offshore IT partners is a must, and experience working on a legacy mainframe/IMS environment in similar endeavors will be an advantage. Professional certifications like PMP, CPIM, CSCP, and/or CIRM would be beneficial. Six Sigma certification is desired, but a willingness to become greenbelt certified is required. Expected travel will be 25% on average, but with potential extended stays during implementation or critical points during the project, including overseas travel.
