Our company has been a leader in legal publications for over a century. They have the highest editorial standards in the industry and include some of Canada's most prominent legal scholars.
This company specializes in the delivery of legal information in a variety of medias including written, digital and interactive.
To expand the scope of their services they are looking to staff their IT department with a group of highly professional java developers with very strong technical skills combined with solid experience and a good education.
More specifically, they are looking for:
• 1-2 years of previous programming experience
• 1-2 years web application development experience
• Previous experience with Application Programming Interfaces.
•Previous experience in electronic publishing field would be beneficial
This is an exciting opportunity to join a company which has strong credibility, a solid reputation and is a leader in their field. The selected candidate will be able to identify the means to complete programming jobs, to analyze jobs and determine their requirements, to work independently and in teams, to self-motivate and document and communicate well. In addition, they will have a technical background which includes knowledge of and the ability to implement Java, CMS, Web Programming, SQL and object oriented design and methodology.
