A leader in the field of information management, our client is the creator of a well-known software system that manages and controls large, dynamic collections of Web material. This company is booming and is now seeking a Java Architect and a Senior Software Developer. The Architect will be responsible for their primary software solution which has a relational database back-end and a Web-based front end while the Senior Developer will be responsible for designing and developing our company's Java-based products.
The Architect position is a high-impact role where you can use your BSc or similar, your extensive experience in complex systems/software development, and your profound understanding of the entire software product lifecycle to enhance, design, and develop our client's software platform. You have extensive multi-threading experience and are quick to understand large software systems and have a strong understanding of application servers -- BEA (WebLogic) or IBM (WebSphere), or Sun. You have worked with one RDBMS - DB2 or Oracle or MS SQL Server and programming languages such as Java (Core Java, Servlets, Design Patterns), and have knowledge of JSP, XML, JDBC, SQL. Knowledge of C++, and JSF/Spring and SUN Java Architect certification are assets. You are a big picture person seeking a very visible role where you will use your server-side core Java expertise to divise simple solutions to complex problems that enhance and prolong code lifespan.
As the Senior Java Developer, you will use your BSc or similar, and your team lead experience with enterprise Java/J2EE server projects to enhance the company's software solutions. You will implement projects within time and budget estimates, identify missing or incomplete requirements in the product specification, and assure the overall technical quality of solutions. You seek challenges and want to play a central role in a dynamic innovative team helping to resolve key technical issues on various projects while providing technical and project management support. You are quick to understand large software systems and have a strong understanding of application servers -- BEA (WebLogic) or IBM (WebSphere), or Sun. You have worked with one RDBMS - DB2 or Oracle or MS SQL Server.You are seeking a visible role where you will use your extensive server-side core Java expertise to divise simple solutions to complex problems that enhance and prolong code lifespan
